Passion for Writing and about InspiredSeline

Hey guys,

I guess you've noticed my recent blog posts. I am currently working on a story that suddenly popped in my head. I do apologize about that :P

In case your wondering, I started blogging and writing long time ago. This blog posts will give a glimpse on my passion of writing and all about InspiredSeline
To make it simpler, below is the list of questions I have for myself to explain it easily.

1. When did I started writing?
I started writing when I was in grade school. I can't remember the exact grade or year. But I started having a diary back then. My classmates have there own diaries so I started mine as well. I bought a notebook in our school bookstore and started writing.

2. When did I found out that I can do more in writing?
I was on my third year in high school when getting on top of our English subject is a trend. Our teacher often pick students with good writing skills and spread his/her work in other classes. I was inspired to be one of those students. One day she asked us to write something. I can't remember what kind of writing or literature it was but I got of the highest scores. It took me almost five hours to finish it. But I wasn't still her favorite :P.

3. When did it became a passion?
Honestly, I am not sure of my writing technical skills and I don't know if I have all my grammar right in every piece of literature I've done. But one thing for sure is that I'm imaginative and I believe I can express myself in writing.
At first, I'm so afraid to be criticized because of my grammar. Living in the Philippines where everyone is a grammar Nazi is really difficult. I kept my work in private. But when I saw one of my friends posting her blogs about reviews online. I started my own blog as well. I believe I officially started my blog when I was in my Junior year in college. I used a different platform back then. I started posting about my experiences and how I can relate it to God's love. I end up writing on our youth's news letter.
I then launched another two of my blogs later that year with the same content.

4. How did I came up with a Lifestyle Blog?
InspiredSeline is something that is new to me. Unlike my previous blogs where I just post blogs related to God. This blog encourages youth, millenials and other young adults to live a balance life.
I first came up with this idea because of my instagram. I noticed a sudden change of my followers. They shifted from normal friends to people who are motivated and inspired. I believe that's also because I started posting inspirational quotes, daily habits, and things that balances my life. So, I figured why not starting a blog that encourages everyone to have a balance life?

5. How am I doing so far in my blog?
As a beginner, I believe I'm still a bit lost. I am still thinking on how to get many readers to read my blogs. I believe my blog is still on it's starting point. Trying to figure out things.

6. Why should readers follow my blog?
I believe there are a lot of young people out there experiencing the same struggle. By simply following my blog. They can find someone or hopefully a community sharing the same thing. Also, they can find tips from my blogs to survive everyday life.

7. Why is my blog different?
My blog is personalized and easier to read. I make sure to make my blog posts shorter, simpler, and straight to the point. Also, all my blog posts are based on experience. I am also opening myself for suggestions. The main goal of my blog is to share knowledge and wisdom and to gain as well from my followers.

That's it guys. This is what my blog is all about. I believe writing is something that anyone should enjoy. That's why I encourage everyone to start their own blogs as well. I hope you've gained something from this blog post to start your own blog or maybe just an idea about it.

How about you guys, do you have a blog? Share it to me so I can read yours too :)

Love lots,
Seline :)

How do I balance my life?

For a person to have a balanced life I believe that we should know how to weigh our priorities without jeopardizing others. As a student, employee, daughter, sister and girlfriend. I honestly have a hard time to do so. Four years ago I've decided to balance my life so I divided all my priorities into five: 1. Physical Physical priorities will be the things and activities that will help me improve physically. In one of my previous post I mentioned that I go to the gym. That is one thing for me to balance myself. Other activities might be joining fun runs, eating healthy foods, drinking 8 glasses of water everyday, 6 to 8 hours of sleep everyday, delegating "me time" part of the week and many more. I started small by exercising 15 minutes every morning and then later I joined the gym for boxing. The good thing about setting a priority for this activity is that I am not only exercising I am also learning self defense. 2. Spiritual Spiritua...

My BLEPP 2018 - Registered Psychometrician Journey

This year has been a roller coaster ride for me. Little people know that I am actually reviewing for my board exam while having my thesis writing 1, comprehensive exam and working at the same time. Only a few people know that I'm planning to take the boards and they all thought that it was a career and educational suicide. I can still remember my sister telling me that it was like a double edge sword. If I fail in my board exam my self-esteem will be jeopardized that will cause decrease performance on my comprehensive exam and thesis writing 1, and will probably affect my work - because of depression? I think. I honestly don't care anymore. I've been dreading to do this for years and now I am tired of being afraid. I am ready to do it now.  Graduate School Comprehensive Exam - My folder Five years of fight or flight Reviewing for my boards - downloaded since I'm on self-review I graduated from college 5 years ago - May of 2013 to be exact...
