Happy New Year Art

Hi Guys! It's this time of the year again when holiday strikes, foods are served, fireworks are displayed and people are jumping hoping to have an extra inch on there heights. While our pounds are adding because of this jolly season. I've decided to make an art. After the successful semester and BLEPP board exam I wasn't able to take a break. I wasn't able to celebrate myself. So, last year before the new year ends. I painted two artworks to at least take a break from all the grind that I'm doing and before starting again a new year. (Sorry for the bad quality of pictures)  I painted this before Christmas Day. This is my first attempt to return to watercolor. The bad quality of the paper and water color shows in this painting. The watercolor seems to be painted light but in fact it wasn't. So far this is my favorite! I attempted to try the technique to paint fireworks but since the paper here is still not good. It didn't work so I ad...

Catriona Gray's Adarna inspired Art - Ms. Universe 2018

Recently Ms. Universe pageant 2018 held in Thailand this December announced the queen for this year. And it's no other than the representative of the Philippines, Ms. Catriona Gray. Everybody was astonished that once again the Philippines brought the crown home. Within the length of five years two queens brought the Ms. Universe crown home Ms. Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach in 2015 and now Gray in 2018. Though Wurtzbach's win was memorable because of the error in announcement of the winner. Gray took the Philippines and the world by surprise. Every detail in her performance raised an awareness of the culture, beliefs, traditions and customs of the Filipinos. During her Preliminary Performance same month everybody was surprised by her dress that was adapted from a character in one of the famous epic poem in the Philippines, The Ibong Adarna. Everybody was inspired to make an art for her, to her and through her since then. Other's reminisce the story and how it can ...

How do I balance my life?

For a person to have a balanced life I believe that we should know how to weigh our priorities without jeopardizing others. As a student, employee, daughter, sister and girlfriend. I honestly have a hard time to do so. Four years ago I've decided to balance my life so I divided all my priorities into five: 1. Physical Physical priorities will be the things and activities that will help me improve physically. In one of my previous post I mentioned that I go to the gym. That is one thing for me to balance myself. Other activities might be joining fun runs, eating healthy foods, drinking 8 glasses of water everyday, 6 to 8 hours of sleep everyday, delegating "me time" part of the week and many more. I started small by exercising 15 minutes every morning and then later I joined the gym for boxing. The good thing about setting a priority for this activity is that I am not only exercising I am also learning self defense. 2. Spiritual Spiritua...

What are the 4 books that I've read during the BLEPP 2018?

Hi guys, My friends keep on asking me the books that I've used during the board exam. Well instead of writing a blog on it. I tried to make a vlog about it. This is my first vlog and I hope you like it. Let me know if you have questions, suggestions and comments in the comment section. Thanks! Enjoy! :)

Why did I study again?

After college graduation usually people go straight ahead look for a job, save money, date someone, get promoted - eventually, buy a car, house, make investment funds and many more. That's what I also thought five years ago right after graduation. I go straight ahead look for a job and refuse to be left behind by my classmates. Worked my way looking forward getting promoted. After 3 years of working I realized that promotion is not often given to "who exactly is performing but rather who is good in politicizing". On my years of work I realized that I can't save that much since I have bills to pay, responsibility comes kicking in. I can date my partner but there is so little time to do so and sometimes you're too tired to even get out of bed. And buying a car nor a house is not that easy there are a lot of things to consider before having one. Investment funds is something to be learned or else you might lose your money. In some point in life...

My BLEPP 2018 - Registered Psychometrician Journey

This year has been a roller coaster ride for me. Little people know that I am actually reviewing for my board exam while having my thesis writing 1, comprehensive exam and working at the same time. Only a few people know that I'm planning to take the boards and they all thought that it was a career and educational suicide. I can still remember my sister telling me that it was like a double edge sword. If I fail in my board exam my self-esteem will be jeopardized that will cause decrease performance on my comprehensive exam and thesis writing 1, and will probably affect my work - because of depression? I think. I honestly don't care anymore. I've been dreading to do this for years and now I am tired of being afraid. I am ready to do it now.  Graduate School Comprehensive Exam - My folder Five years of fight or flight Reviewing for my boards - downloaded since I'm on self-review I graduated from college 5 years ago - May of 2013 to be exact...

Passion for Writing and about InspiredSeline

Hey guys, I guess you've noticed my recent blog posts. I am currently working on a story that suddenly popped in my head. I do apologize about that :P In case your wondering, I started blogging and writing long time ago. This blog posts will give a glimpse on my passion of writing and all about InspiredSeline To make it simpler, below is the list of questions I have for myself to explain it easily. 1. When did I started writing?                I started writing when I was in grade school. I can't remember the exact grade or year. But I started having a diary back then. My classmates have there own diaries so I started mine as well. I bought a notebook in our school bookstore and started writing. 2. When did I found out that I can do more in writing?                I was on my third year in high school when getting on top of our English subject is a trend. Our teacher often pick stu...

6 Tips to Survive Graduate School for Beginners

Hi Guys,                For all of you who haven't read my first post on what to expect on my blog (you can read it here ). I've mentioned there that I'm currently going to Graduate school. I majored in Industrial Psychology in University of Santo Tomas. I started attending grad school last year 2016. I am now on my third semester.                  Because I am previously working as a full time employee. I only took 2 to 3 subjects per semester. Being a full time employee and a Graduate Student is not that easy. You have to deal with stress from work and school, time pressure and many more. In this blog post I will be discussing my 6 Tips to Survive Grad school for Beginners. I hope to post another blog related to this soon. But for now, this post is for beginners that hopes to find balance between school, work and life. With no particular order here are the 6 Tips to Survive Graduate Scho...

Workout Routine

Basically, my workout routine is the "Boxer's routine" like what coach Mario told me.  Like in my previous post I usually stay in the gym for 2 to 3 hours depending on the coach I'm with. If I'm with Coach Mario I usually spend 2hrs and a half. My routine is pretty much simple. I believe almost all students in the gym are doing the same routine. But it depends on their needs. As for me, I want to be toned and lose some of my belly fat. Here is the list of my routine: 1. Stretching           Usually Coach Mario doesn't give his students stretching time in the beginning. He goes straight to cardio. In my first session with him, I got severe headache and pain in the back. Thanks to google I am now starting my every session with Coach with a stretch customized by myself. Excuse my sweaty look :P 2. Cardio             The gym is specialized for Boxers, Muay Thai students and Fighters so they don't have tre...
